U suorganizaciji Poslijediplomskog doktorskog studija “Moderna i suvremena hrvatska povijest u europskom i svjetskom kontekstu” održan je 26. listopada 2018. na Filozofskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu okrugli stol o irskom plemstvu u Hrvatskoj.

 

U nastavku upućujemo na medijske odjeke i donosimo fotografije s okruglog stola.

That was one of the minor revelations of a conference in the University of Zagreb last month, on “Irish Nobility in Croatia from 18th to 20th centuries”.

 

Co-hosted by the Irish Embassy and addressed by Prof Terry Dooley of Maynooth University as well as local academics, it explored Ireland’s contribution to a Croatia that was not yet independent then, but to which Nugent is now a national hero.

U organizaciji Odsjeka za povijest Filozofskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu i Oddelka za zgodovino Filozofske fakultete Univerze v Ljubljani te Poslijediplomskog doktorskog studija “Moderna i suvremena hrvatska povijest u europskom i svjetskom kontekstu” uspješno je održana 29. VI. 2018.  godine međunarodna znanstvena konferencija o sukobu Tita i Staljina 1948. (The Tito-Stalin Split 70 Years After).

Mednarodna konferenca: Tito-Stalin Split – 70 years later

Filozofski fakulteti v Zagrebu in Ljubljani sta 29. in 30. junija 2018 organizirali mednarodno konferenco znanstvenikov iz desetih držav. Dogodek se je pričel s slavnostno otvoritvijo v spominskem parku Miroslava in Bele Krleža na dan sprejema resolucije Informbiroja ter s tem tudi izbruha spora, ki je ključno zaznamoval pot jugoslovanske notranje in zunanje politike.

Academics and activists marked the 70th anniversary of the split between Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, which led to mass persecution and the creation of the Non-Alignment Movement.
